Jonah Rosenthal began booking national commercials and voice over work at a young age (for clients such as Macy’s, Visa, Toyota, and Sprint). Since the company’s inception in 2014, he has been GVAA’s resident Home Studio Coach and Creative Director.

As Creative Director, his main responsibilities have included: Designing the look, feel, and functionality of the site, writing all the text/copy for the site, refining all aspects of the GVAA Membership, creating the structure and workflow of each personalized action plan, and making the user-experience as streamlined and enjoyable as possible.

As GVAA’s Home Studio coach, he’s helped hundreds of clients elevate their home recordings to meet professional VO industry standards and give their auditions a competitive edge. He leads monthly workouts for GVAA members, giving feedback on both raw and edited recordings.

He also offers one-on-one consultations to help clients develop a trained ear, learn proper recording and editing techniques, and get the best possible sound out of their space without spending more on acoustic treatment or recording equipment than they need to. His knowledge of the voice over world and expertise in audio-production allows him to make recommendations that are specifically tailored to each person’s experience level, recording environment, vocal type, and budget!
