This is for the Narrator of the Princess title on our new Maestro platform. The target audience is ages 3-6. We’re looking for a male voice, one that sounds a bit like the butler from Little Mermaid. And then pull back on the British accent. Very proper and sophisticated.

Sample Script

• Run to the hole in the wall as quickly as you can without waking up Lucifer.
• Run in place, then jump to the colored mat spots.
• Pick up any items with the number 4.
• Don’t forget to pick up beads and bows along the way!
• Help Gus, Jaq, and the other mice decorate Cinderella’s dress with the [beads] you collected.
• Use the bopper to move beads and bows around on Cinderella’s dress.
• Snd-A
• Snd-O
• Fill the night sky with beautiful music and sparkling fireworks just for Ariel
• Help Snow White teach Dopey some dance moves!
• Nice work!

Role: The strongest and highest level commander in the initial group. Extremely difficult.

Personality: Virtually unbeatable, only he’s such an egomaniac that you just want to take down in order to show him up! The guy boasts, brags and flaunts his wins in your face. In fact, he’s so pompous and conceited, it borderlines on the absurd.

Role: The lowest level opponent in the game – a complete beginner.

Personality: He’s all psyched up and ready to blow the doors off the competition – only that’s more fantasy than reality since he doesn’t have experience. A newbie who’s all talk and has a lot to learn. But that doesn’t stop him! He thinks he can win every time… and is quick to come up with any kind of excuse when he doesn’t.

Voice Notes: Young male, a mixture of unaware overconfidence and painfully obvious overcompensation for his lack of skills and experience. Bill Paxton in “Aliens”

Kid’s put-upon girlfriend, a lounge singer in Kid’s speakeasy. She’s a bottle blonde who looks a lot like Marty’s girlfriend, Jennifer. Her voice should have something of a Jennifer Tilly/Betty Boop/Squeaky But Friendly Vibe to it. It should NOT be irritating.

“I may not be the brightest bulb in the marquee, but even I know you don’t break up with a killer like Kid without something to keep him from goin’ all crazy on you.”
“Before he took a powder, Artie was tutorin’ me in all sorts of stuff. Etiquette, philosphy, accountin’… he’s a regular Renaisauce Man.”
“That’s what it says on my dressing room door… At least, it would if I HAD a dressing room.”
Trixie will be singing in this episode. We COULD cast someone who can sing, OR, in fine BTTF tradition, Trixie’s singing voice could utterly fail to match up with the speaking voice. Since Trixie’s persona is a façade (her real name is Sylvia, and she’s a brunette), I’d be inclined to go with the latter approach.

The third of Tannen’s goons. A personable bartender.

“You talk weird, you know that? But no, I don’t know nothin’ about Trixie’s emotional state. Kid doesn’t pay me nearly enough to pour drinks AND babysit his crazy girlfriends.”

“[mock serious] The caricatures hanging along the Wall of Honor commemorate those who are no longer with us on account of having ticked off one Irving “Kid” Tannen.”

“Well, I ain’t no Carl Jung, but I’ve noticed that when he’s boozin’ it up like he is tonight, Danny Boy’s particularly receptive to the lyrical stylings of Miss Trotter.”
