Whether you’re in the process of updating an old demo, venturing into a new area of voice over, or recording a demo for the very first time, having a strong demo (or demos) is one of the best ways to showcase your talent as a voice actor and it can make all the difference when it comes to how often you’re booking work. A professionally produced demo is a powerful statement about your talent, your business, and your brand.
To be selected to do an audition or to be represented by an agency, you have to have a great demo that showcases the full range of your voice over talent and your flexibility as an actor. If you are seeking work in several genres, i.e. Commercial, Character, Narration, Movie Trailer/Promo, you will need a separate voice over demo for each of those genres.
