You’ve probably heard the term before – Musculoskeletal Disorder – or MSD. A long, scientific phrase a short acronym – but they both mean the same thing: pain. The pain of back ache, a sore shoulder, a neck ache – pain in the hand or wrist or elbow. MSDs can happen if you don’t work safely. And MSDs can strike anyone – no matter your age, or how strong you might be. So reducing the likelihood of getting an MSD is important – which is where working smarter and safer comes in.
