Doug Honorof (SAG-AFTRA) is one of most in-demand dialect coaches in the entertainment industry. His film and television client roster includes many high-profile Oscar, Emmy and BAFTA award winners, and he has worked on over 400 on-camera productions shot on five continents and one on the open ocean. Doug has also coached straight plays and musicals (including New York and world premieres), commercials, computer games, animation and audiobooks. Having trained as an actor, comedian, writer and linguistic phonetician (including, especially, at Yale/Yale Drama, the Actors Center, the Barrow Group and the Dramatist Guild Institute), he has taught in leading actor-training programs including Yale School of Drama and the musical theater studio school of the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He was also included in the first cohort of GVAA coaches.

Doug is a life member of the International Phonetic Association and serves on the planning group of the Voice and Speech Trainer's Association "ArtsCore" interest group. He has also published in, and reviewed for, many leading journals including the Voice and Speech Review.
